OSARA New York is the online store division of Leader Trading, a family owned dinnerware, restaurant equipment, and custom stainless steel work company on Bowery, known as "Restaurant Supply District" in New York City since 1981.

("OSARA(お皿)" means "dish" in Japanese and our online store opened in Dec. 2020.)

Message from Felix:

My Father Simon Fung established Leader Trading with the goal of providing great value to his customers and to become a reliable partner in their success.  We pride ourselves in offering quality restaurant equipment with efficient and friendly service.  With over 55 years of combined experience and my education from Boston University in Food and Beverage Management I’m sure we can help!

Our Strengths.

We have over 40 years of experience selling restaurant-equipment on Bowery Street, Manhattan. (It's an area famous for being the restaurant supply district in New York City.)  We strive to keep understanding our customers needs better, offering the best service and products we can for our customers needs. 

Quick and friendly service.

Most of our items are stocked in our Manhattan store or stored between two warehouses near NYC.  Orders usually take 1-3 business days to process and shipping out within the continental U.S.  We're happy to serve you for your food equipment needs!

You don't have to buy in bulk.

We understand being in NYC, that space is precious.  Please purchase what you need.  It's not necessary to purchase in full cases with us and we are happy to sell items in smaller quantities. (exceptions apply for silverware and glassware.)

Good pricing with lots of options:

We source our products directly from manufacturers so we can offer fantastic prices to you!  We'll have hundreds of items listed here and many more in the future.  Most of our customers are restaurants/hotels and we understand that accidents happen, but they shouldn't be too costly.  In light of that we carry products for all budgets, and items are priced well.   (By the way, we do carry Melamine dishes which won't break easily and are very damage resistant, please check them out!)
